How do I buy an eBook?
After registering with our Online Shop www.books.ch you can buy eBooks. The purchased eBooks are saved in your account (My Account / My Downloads) and can be easily transfered to your eReader or with the reading-App directly to your iPad or Tablet-PC.

How many eBooks are available?
Books.ch offers more than 250’000 eBooks in German, English, French and Italian. This includes a large selection of new releases, bestsellers and classics in fiction and non-fiction.

Can I share purchased eBooks?
No. Our eBooks are AdobeDRM protected. That means that your eBooks can only be read on devices which support the DRM protection (certain eReader, iPad-Apps, programmes on PC/Mac etc). Please beware of the following limitations:

• You need the Adobe Digital Editions and an AdobeID to unlock and read the eBooks.

• Up to 6 devices can be authorized with the same AdobeID.

• You can not print out eBooks.

eReader or Tablet-PC?
This decision depends on the needs of each user. This short aid for decision making will help you decide:
eReader: The eReader is recommended for bookworms and on-the-go readers because of its lightweight and the glare-free display that's designed for hours of comfortable reading. The paper-like E-Ink screen is easy on the eyes, even in direct sunlight.
